InvalidDomain.com hosts a IRC node for the Free Chat Network. You can join the network by either connecting to irc.invaliddomain.com or connect to a random server on the network connecting to go.freech.at.
You are welcome to join and create your own chat room.
Public chat rooms

| #lobby | Main entrance to the FreeChat IRC Network. Go here to introduce yourself and get help to find your way around the network. |
| #computers | Talk about computers, operating systems and more. Not just limited to computers, other topics may be discussed. |
| #linux | Chat room for discussing all topics relating to Linux. |
| #ircops | Used mainly by the IRC network operators. Ops can provide assistance with NickServ or ChanServ or other IRC related issues. |
Useful commands
| Command | Description |
| /join #channel | Join a chat room, replace #channel with the channel name. All channels are prefixed with an #. |
| /part #channel | Leave a chat room. |
| /query username | Open a private chat window to the specified username. |
| /list | Provides a list of all public channels. Some channels may be hidden from the list. |
| /msg username | Send a private message to username. Useful for sending a single private message. |
Services
The FreeChat IRC Network provides services such as NickServ and ChanServ. You may use these services to register/protect your IRC name and to register/protect your own channels. You can quickly get help by opening a private chat using /query and sending the help command.
